Science Sentences

Today Ds and Lk are writing sentences about what we did for science, to explain what we have been doing with the sentences and combining with the science we did.

The examples:

Very Short Sentence: The biltong tasted very salty.

W-Start: We had to wait 1-2 weeks for the seed to sprout.

Adverb Start: The seedling was slowly growing.

Simple To Complex Sentences

Today we have been working on simple to complex sentences for practising for a writing assessment on Wednesday, to help improve our writing so the sentences are not boring.

Simple To Complex Sentences.

The dog ate.

The dog ate softly.

The dog ate softly today. 

The dog ate softly today sitting down on the grass.

The dog ate softly today sitting down on the grass in the hot heat.

How to make Fried eggs on toast.

Materials:

1. Stove 

2. A pan

3. Cooking oil or butter

4. Eggs 

5. Bread

6. Toaster

7. Fork and knife

8. Plate

Ingredients:

1. 1-3 eggs optional  

2. One tablespoon of butter

3. 1/2 teaspoon of salt

4. 1-3 pieces of bread

Steps:

1. Turn stove on to medium heat (350)

2. Put the pan the stove let it heat up a bit

3. Crack how many eggs or your choice 1-2 or 2-3

4. Put how many pieces of bread of your choice 1-2 or 2-3 then put them in the toaster for 2-3 minutes

5. Once the eggs are cooked and the toast put it all on a plate don't forget you'r knife and fork

Wacky Sentence Starter

Wacky Sentence Starter

I wonder what would happen if I attached some hydrogen peroxide in

some coke and put it on a segway vehicle?

It all happened on the 10th of July. I was bored, indeedly very bored.

I was trying to find out what to do for my outrages science project, at

home so I thought to myself “What can I do?” I started to work on some

scientist plans.

Suddenly an idea popped from my scientist brain for thinking nonsense.

What would happen if I attached some hydrogen peroxide in some coke &

attach it on a segway.

I started right away making mad science project.

When I had finished my science project I had gone outside.

I shook up the coke bottles, hopped on the segway, had blasted off like

a dash of bolting bolts of broken pieces

of lighting, nearly falling from 100km from the sky.

5 seconds later I ended up in a place called Wigram Primary School.

The Ice Skater has brown/blonde hair.

Her face color is a glimmering glowing peach.

Her eyes is a hazel color like the color off her hair.

Her dress is a rosy red color like a ruby.

Her legs glim like glowing glitter.

Her Ice Skates are a sparkle color.
