Today we have been working on simple to complex sentences for practising for a writing assessment on Wednesday, to help improve our writing so the sentences are not boring.

The dog ate.
The dog ate softly.
The dog ate softly today.
The dog ate softly today sitting down on the grass.
The dog ate softly today sitting down on the grass in the hot heat.

I like how you highlighted each new bit in your sentences to make it really clear. I would like to see you sharing some more of your work in class, you have great ideas and it would be good for other students to be able to hear them!
