On Monday we got a box from school kit with a few things in it and we are going to be writing poetry after we had to use google maps to find out what school it was from the school is St's Peters Private school, in Cambridge north island near Hamilton. We had to use answer garden to figure out what empathy means it means: The ability to understand and share the feelings of another.

Procedural Writing
How to make Fried eggs on toast.

Materials:
1. Stove 

2. A pan

3. Cooking oil or butter

4. Eggs 

5. Bread

6. Toaster

7. Fork and knife

8. Plate

Ingredients:
1. 1-3 eggs optional  

2. One tablespoon of butter

3. 1/2 teaspoon of salt

4. 1-3 pieces of bread

Steps:
1. Turn stove on to medium heat (350)

2. Put the pan the stove let it heat up a bit

3. Crack how many eggs or your choice 1-2 or 2-3

4. Put how many pieces of bread of your choice 1-2 or 2-3 then put them in the toaster for 2-3 minutes

5. Once the eggs are cooked and the toast put it all on a plate don't forget you'r knife and fork

Measuring weather.

Definitions:

  1. Anemometer:
  2. Beaufort wind scale:

MATERIALS

  1. Tape
  2.  Pin
  3.  4 cups
  4.  1 pencil 
  5. 2 sticks  

STEPS

  1. Tape the sticks to the cups 
  2. Tape the sticks together to make a cross
  3.  Pin the cross to the rubber in the pencil 

Group Investigation.

Groups size: 5
Roles:

  • Timekeeper ( watch)
  • Counter
  • Recorder ( Chromebook or refill )
  • Anemometer Manager ( Anemometer)
  • Wind Manager

Instructions:
  • Go to the measuring place and set up your wind gauge.
  • Make sure everyone in your group is ready to start their roles.
  • Record how many times it spins and record it in the table below.
  • Count the number of spins in 15 seconds.
  • Record it on your chart.

2040

2040 documentary by Damon Gameau.

What are 2 things you learned?
1 Things I didn't know what could/might happen in 2040 and what damage can happen

2 Knowing that there could be more electricity and power. But which we should have more trees because they get cut down and we need vegetation.   

What I would like to see in 2040? 
I would like to see more less pollution and no climate change that can happen to the earth and some electricity that can help.
